Ok, we get this question too many times, and this always stems from not reading this clause on our Download-A-Troll page:
…all of my Sims have a ton of custom content. I’ll be listing them below, next to each Sim, so you can download them separately. :3 If you don’t download these, they won’t appear as they do in my screencaps.
Here’s how to resolve the problems:
- If your sim has black skin, download the gray skin tone file I linked to.
- If your sim doesn’t have appropriately colored eyes, download the eyes I linked to.
- If your troll doesn’t have horns, download the horns I provide.
- If your sim doesn’t have the right hair, download the hair I link to on my hair tag.
- If some clothing isn’t showing up, download the clothes I linked to. All the clothes that are guaranteed 100% to show up are base game clothes (like Gamzee’s, which has a base game pattern applied to it).
- To install the files, read this thoroughly.
Please, guys, please please read the Downloads page! All that text is there for a reason. I also have a FAQ page! Read through all that twice, and if and only if the answer isn’t explicit, drop us a line.

The newest Skysims hair might be of some use to people who are looking for Rose hairs. It can be obtained outside of TSR, of course… :D Just needs a sweet new retexture.

.sim files go into Saved Sims, .package files go into Mods/Packages.
You do NOT install .sim files and .package files from the Launcher. Please read the guides again, this one for .sim files and this one for .package files. You’ll only need Winrar if the file is compressed in a .zip or .rar file. You won’t need that for our stuff. Follow it step-by-step and read it carefully. All you need is there.
It has come to our attention that some of this blog’s downloads are being shared on places like The Sims 3 Exchange. Please remember this very very important clause in our download post’s Terms and Conditions which you should have read when downloading our stuff:
Do NOT under any circumstances upload these elsewhere without permission, hotlink the files, nor share these claiming to be yours.
Please, please do not do this. You don’t know how disappointed Chris and I were when we found that there were quite a few downloads on the Sims Exchange that included our horns and did not ask permission or even link back to where they got them. We are frankly disheartened by the lack of integrity shown by some of our followers. We do realize that this may have been a mistake, but this mistake must still be rectified. (Please remember that everything you attach to a Sim on the Exchange is included in the file you upload!)
It’s stuff like this that saddens us to the point that we do not want to make more content if it would just be uploaded with a disregard for the rules. We understand that we may have not been posting much recently thanks to the demands of schoolwork and our personal lives, but seeing this blatant heedlessness of our conditions just makes us want to post less.
Also, we’d like to add that if you see other people uploading Simstuck objects, please come to us and report them so that appropriate action will be taken. We’d really appreciate your cooperation. :)

We saw this a looooooooong time ago, but decided against it since it clips into Sims/objects with certain animations (especially sitting). It’s impossible to make a properly working cape in the Sims 3 with how Sims work right now, but this one is the best there is if you want to use one.
